Community Service Distribution of School bags, educational books at LP School Rotary Club Shillong Heritage undertook a project at Buddha Vidya Niketan LP School in response to a request from the Principal to support the educational needs of the students. Community Service Certificate given to 8 students who did the Computer course As part of its commitment to Vocational Service and Women Empowerment, Rotary Club Shillong Heritage successfully conducted a two-month Computer Training Programme for eight young girls in collaboration with IIPS Shillong. The programme was aimed at equipping participants with essential computer skills that would enhance their confidence, employability, and ability to navigate an increasingly digital world. The training was conducted over a period of two months with the support and guidance of dedicated computer instructors. The participants received hands-on training in basic computer operations, including computer fundamentals, Microsoft Office applications, internet usage, email communication, and digital literacy skills.
